How is the Har these days ?
We are much wetter but we don't miss that!!!
We are too far inland to get the Har :)
Are there any farmers markets in the Bluetoon or the Broch? if there are it
might be worth asking if anyone is looking for land for veggie growing -
polytunnels etc - from watching Gianna on uk.sci.weather its a lot less cold
than when we were there 20 years ago. And if you are close enough to the sea
you would get good reflected light
The problem with these ideas is that the land makes up the majority of
the view from our house - polytunnels are therefore definately out!
Veggies might work, but I don't think that it would be that good an
idea.
The ideal solution would be something that would allow the land to be
kept in reasonable condition without needing lots of work, and with
some way of paying for itself. If I were to make a profit that would be
good, but as long as I don't make a loss I am not bothered.
I am sure others will drop in with more ideas - I have folks in so not able
to stick around sorry
That would be great!
Thanks
