It is interesting
I don't have my eye on the speedo
I have never looked for cameras
Maybe its because we have our vehicles for a long time :~) but I have a
pretty good idea what speed I am doing.
Certainly the roads around here you have to be driving quite hard to speed
except for through the villages which do require some thought.
Maybe there have been so many deaths on our local roads - that also focus's
the mind somewhat
I would rather get there in one piece than 2 minutes earlier.
Certainly when you are comparing notes with those who you know do drive hard
it does not make any appreciable difference. And there are fewer folks who
volunteer to drive with them <VBG>

hmm - thats where its harder to empathise. Usually when you see someone
speeding it does look dangerous.
