The article, as usual with Pat, does not even mention the SVS although it
does mention EU vets. It is critical of customs and excise though.
He missed the best bit. The parrot was not in a quarantine centre in Mr
Hammonds back garden but one in the back garden of someone who works part
time in Southend hospital. (BBC Look East this evening showed the property
and the sheds. Also see

Perhaps the SVS also controls Southend hospital. :-)
