Has anybody had any experiences with the Farmade series of software? I'm currently looking into the idea of crop recording software and would appreciate any personal experiences either on Farmade or similar software.

We use Farmplan for accounting, and Farmade Multicrop for crop recording, Farmade Amais for mapping. Multicrop is still a 16 bit package, Amais 32 bit but they integrate well. They do pretty well what we need, but like most packages have their own quirks. We got these before I heard about Charles' software.

At first we thought that Amais was quite expensive, but the ability to run off maps for IACS, SP5, Goose licences and all the other admin is very worthwhile.

Have you any specific queries?

As with similar software, it takes quite a lot of work to get enough history into the system to make the long term records useful. We have had Multicrop for 7 years now, and with the back soils data I originally entered, we have some most useful reports.

I understand that a new version of Multicrop (32 bit) is due out soon, which will need significantly more computer power than the 16 bit version.
