I tend to beef my machines up with at least one or two extra fans to
increase air flow in the case depending on the layout of the original box.
The machine I am using ATM is 3 years old and is never switched off. This
has two extractor fans and the PSU fan. However, I do clean the inside
regularly as well as dust is a problem. I would like to try a filter
system of some sort sometime but am not too sure on what to use as a
filter, though even some cotton *** would be better than what is there
at present!

I did notice that the originla PSU tended to run a bit hot, but since
putting a large additional fan in the case, this seems to be sorted though
it did burn the original fan out some 18month ago. Happily the PSU itself
was OK and a 5 quid PSU fan put it right!

The downside is the whole kaboosh is damned noisy!
