Which confirms what I have been telling you for the past five years. You
can't make money from sick pigs, unless you have a government compensated
epidemic. Swine Fever and FMD were compensated from public funds, PMWS was
not, because Maff-Defra failed to request notifiable status from the OIE.

If you pay for sick pigs that is what the market will provide.

Anyway, now there is no compensatable epidemic, Britain can't produce enough
pork from sick pigs to compete with more efficient overseas producers with
healthier sows.
