I remember a few episodes of Rose, nice, bumbling, well meaning young copper, with girl friend who had the connections and drive for both of them?
That's the one. Plenty of Rosies about, and Wilmotts to balance them. Mrs H used to hate the programme. She was a typist at a police station at the time and I had the habit of calling her Brenda. :-)
