frequently a symptom of summat else that is unrelated but that is where it
hiccoughs

try this lot to see if it clears things

empty OE delete file
shift current files away from inbox - make new files a stage away so Inbox
itself is empty

empty recycle bin

shut down - open up in safe mode - defrag

shut down - open up in safe mode - full scan disk

shut down - open up in full mode

Sometimes it is not possible to work out what is causing the indigestion but
that has cleared it for me lots of times
