I would never try to take away from the job the coast guard do, but one must
remember that *it is their job*. They aren't heros. They are doing jobs
they are trained and equiped to do. The real heros are the people who
aren't trained and equiped, but are determined to help any way they can, at
the risk of their own lives. That's just my opinion, of course. One might
note a bit of frustration in my words and one would be right. There were
small towns completely wiped out in Mississippi, with people dying there too
and all they can talk about on the news is New Orleans, the shrub and the
military response. That's why I stopped watching the news!
