to be away for an unspecificed periord, say a month?
I know the lads round here, they drop everything, put their lives at risk,
with no warning. But they expect to be home within 24hrs

Well it took nearly that long for them to admit we had no electric and that
was with full communications network still up!
To haul a lot of kit still takes time and skilled manpower, and there isn't
that much skilled manpower
