No shortage has actually occurred yet, but we are feeling it all the same.
I was prompted to get out some receipts and just see how the price of
gasoline has risen this year. This is what I found....
Jan. 30 - $1.749 per gallon
Feb.23 - $1.749
Mar.18 - $1.919
Apr. 28 - $2.089
May 26 - $1.999
June 26 - $2.049
July 17 - $2.249
Aug 27 - $2.529
Today, though I didn't buy gas, I noted it was $3.029 per gallon at the
cheapest place in town, that I know of. We are catching up to y'all much
more quickly than I would like :-(
