Don't be so stupid Pat and don't assume that the readers of this group, here
or abroad, are equally stupid. You opinion of vets is well known, you state
it in just about every post. Given that well known opinion your "question"
"Do you have a close relative who is a vet?" is interpreted as an abusive
comment, no more than that.

The obvious conclusion is that Jill probably does *not* have any relative,
close or otherwise, who is a vet. If she had she would probably have
followed the response she did make with "in fact I do have a relative who is
a vet, so what?"
