do I capitalise £ 8 tin of paint as its part of the inital setup?
shop fittings and fixtures are. Other work *can* be put it in as part of
property improvements (or leasehold if you're renting it) if it's
significant.
When you've moved in it'd come under repairs and maintenance.
If you're just spending £8 or so, code it to repairs.
