Ok, thanks (I had done thought it was a category of debtors) assume
the following is correct:
Can't you see Called up Share Capital not paid on the DCA form?
Balance *** 2005
Current Assets
Called up Share Capital Not Paid £1000
---------
Total Assets £1000
Capital and Reserves
Issued Share Capital £1000
Profit and loss £0
--------
£1000
(I have now bought Frank Woods Accounting 1 book on Amazon, hopefully
that will help me.)

I think your question is a dig at my competance or maybe you didnt
read the previous messages properly, yes I could see the line in the
dca form and I mentioned it earlier but it wasn't clear where I should
put in when transcribed to full accounts, in my first attempt I put it
as £1000 but as a note within the Debtors category because the money
was owed to the Company so this seemed like a type of debt, whilst
this may not be correct I think it is a perfectly reasonable
assumption to make.
It wasn't a dig at your competence. I did read your previous messages
properly. Unfortunately they were contradictory.
If you used the DCA form there isn't a Debtors category.

Ill reiterate because Im not sure you've got this, in 2005 my accounts
consisted of the DCA form and nothing else, I am now preparing my
accounts for 2006. As part of this I have two two columns of figures
one for 2006 and one for 2005 I wanted to know how where to put the
values from the DCA form into my Accounts for 2006.
You said
"You should pay the company for the shares and until you do that you
have to have a debtor for shares unpaid."
So I assumed this meant that Called up Share Capital Not Paid should
be put under Debtors within Current Assets on the balance ***.
No. Called up share capital should be shown seperately per the
Companies Act 1985.
