Would like to buy a wireless access point for use on a cable

Brand & model not really important. PayPal available.
Thanks :)

By the way - cable and DSL are entirely different and require different
routers.
DSL is phone line and needs a filter and cable is separate to your phone
line.
I am using a DSL wireless router as a wireless access point on my cable
connection. I have just left the DSL part disconnected.
I am well aware *some* routers can service both types but that doesn't
change my point and that includes the fact that the OP's subject line
makes no sense.
I didn't miss your point, I just read his post properly. You said they
'require' different hardware and I pointed-out that for his purposes (a
wireless AP) that's not necessarily the case.
