Just pick any of the Hong Kong Ebay electronic bits sellers and ask for a quote for the number and the spec that you want. I did that for a load of USB power "wall warts", rated at 5v 1A (the type with a built-in USB socket). They came in at under 1GBP each, IIRC.
Can't see em being too interested when I say 1, maybe 2 ;-)
50,000 ... maybe :-)
Common sense tells me that a n-port USB will want/expect a n/2 + a bit - rated PSU (assuming USB spec of 500mA power/port) so a 4-port hub would want 2-and-a-bit amps. Does this sound reasonable ?
They had quite an interesting SMPSU design - which I found out when I opened a DOA one. As that one had a resistor that had been clearly broken during the case assembly, they clearly don't test them following prior to shipping.
Don'cha just love those chinese eh ?
