Max size 5" x 4" x 2.5"As a backstop if you can't get a supply that fits - you may be able to use a Pico power supply of the appropriate rating together with an external 12v brick.
IME, a cheaper and easier option than sourcing the right supply.
As yet another alternative, it is sometimes possible to put a 12v SMPSU board in the case of the (broken) non-standard supply. With the Pico either squeezed in there too, or somewhere else in the case.
As yet another alternative, it may be possible to repair the original supply. IME, there are only half a dozen components in a typical ATX supply that are the likely fault.

Thanks Sue,
As far as repairing it is concerned, it's soooo cramped, I wouldnt even know where to start :)
An external is out of the question too, due to the nature of the kit - its a portable opticians eye chart box. One box, LCD attached, mains plug and thats it.
Just about every laptop has an external brick these days.. one for this application probably wouldn't need to be any larger than a laptop brick, which everyone seems to manage to live with.
Best of luck finding a supply!
