So to buy this system new from dabs.com it would cost £ 613 inc VAT I actually just paid £ 530 for it @ ex VAT prices. So your valuation of £ 400 is £ 213 lower then what you would pay if you bought the items new inc VAT and £ 130 lower then the ex VAT price I just paid. To lose £ 213 on a brand new system seems a bit harsh.

I know but you're being totally unrealistic if you think you'll get what you paid!

I dunno see http://tinyurl.com/3yuydz not to dissimilar but with no monitor went to £ 570 before they gave up. I think I would get £ 500 easily for my system with monitor and it may overclock higher then 2.4ghz. Not quite what I paid but near as dammit.

Or http://tinyurl.com/38pkph where the cheapest Core 2 Duo system with at least 2GB and 500GB Hard Drive went for £ 273 + Delivery and no OS no Monitor & on board graphics. If you add £ 120 for the 8800 GTS (they cost £ 182 inc VAT) £ 80 for the 19" Monitor (Costs £ 104 inc VAT) and £ 30 for the extra 2GB RAM (Cost £ 43 inc VAT) your up at £ 500 and don't tell me they ain't worth that. Don't forget and thats the *cheapest* Core 2 Duo system sold recently that meets the criteria.
