Same with me, I have a few W8000's what have been just sittiing in my
garage for about 9 months, I didnt pay anything for them so at the time
I
was going to reply to youyr post about a PSU because I had not tested
these, best I get them Shifted eh
Hmm don't suppose you've got a W6000 have you Andy? This 'PC' is a W6000
which has been running 24-7 for about 5 years now and I've been looking
for
a backup PSU for it for a while just in case. Seeing as if it dies it
would
be a serious pain to transfer everything to another machine.

Thanks for the replies and all the information. Time to sell them I
guess, I have no use for any of them (I've some IBM ones somewhere
too!). Took me several weeks to find someone who had a W8000 PSU, so
good luck with that one!
Ben, it might be worth breaking the W8000 for parts. If I am correct and
that 2gig memory is PC800 RIMM then you can get £90 a gig on Ebay easily.
The dual Xeons woudl be another £100, I have sold barebones W8000 cases for
£100-£120 & you will still have the hard drive.
