I would urge Alex to drop you like a hot coal - customers who resort to
slating other people rather than getting their problems sorted are
nothing but trouble. Perhaps it may be best for Alex's reputation if you
were sued for slander?

What would you do if your emails were not answered?
If your phone calls were not getting results?
If more than one of your sites was down for an intolerable length of time?
I have credible excuses as to why this was all going on which is why I
made this post.
Slander-The publishing of what is false or derogatory.
I would not have made my original post if I thought it was slanderous.
I would co-operate fully with them, providing them with the necessary
information to resolve the problem. If this did not work and I was under the
impression that my issue was being swept under the carpet I would send them
a recorded delivery letter outlining my complaint against them and
threatening them with legal action unless the situation was resolved within
a specific timescale. Usually, that is all that is required - 99% of the
time, the threat of it over the phone is sufficient. One thing I would not
do is to prejudice my case by slating them in a public forum, customers who
become aggressive or obnoxious generally don't get much assistance compared
to those who accept that things occasionally go wrong and are more amenable
in the circumstances. I am sure there are many people on here who would
describe Alex as anything but incompetent, so in those terms the comments
you posted were factually incorrect.
