Note for anyone late to the party, I paid Paul Berry for an Audigy 2
soundcard that never arrived. He said he would refund me, he also
told me on 2 occasions that he was claiming postal insurance for it
but weeks and weeks of mails and asking, all I got was excuses.

Hes kept my money and promised and promised and promised to send it
but his promises are empty, hes sent nothing, his word is worth
nothing.
BEWARE!

Just becuase he hasn't refunded doesn't mean he didn't send it on the
contary its possible that he did send it and won't refund because he
will lose the money he got for it due to a mistake by the postal
service - just the other day "nut" had a SBLIVE5.1 go missing and I
had some memory go missing in 2003. If you can prove a track record
of things going missing then I think you can safely assume he's a
thief in my case however there were multiple examples of where items
I`d sold had been delivered but none of that was taken into account
before I was branded a "thief" I`m thick skinned so I could take it.
Judging by how difficult it was to get a refund out of me I`d say
you have 0% chance of seeing your money again.

This was done to death before and tbh Im past caring what he did or
didnt do, I just want my money back.

If you remember the original thread theres 3 main points, 1 its the
senders responsibility until the goods arrive. 2 if he chose not to
send it in some kind of registered mail and cant get compensation
then thats his risk not mine (65 pence for recorded isnt a big deal),
and 3 hes said he had put in a claim (not was going to).

Yeah from your point of view its the sellers responsibility to make sure the
goods arrive from the buyers point of view its the postal services
responsibility. Its not right that you didn't get what you paid for but by
the same token its not right that he didn't get what he paid for from the
postal service. So you feel he's stolen from you and he feels the postal
service have stolen from him but he is in possesion of your money and so has
no incentive to give it back. Caveat Emptor.
