the 128MB chip that's in it is single sided so I don't know if the wanted 256MB chips have to be the same?
It's an i815, so it should work with any 8-chip (single-sided) or 16-chip (double-sided) 256MB SDRAM stick. It wouldn't work with a 4-chip stick, but those are very rare.
