http://www.fccuk.org/forum/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=99865&an=0&page=0#P
ost99865 Covers most of the bits and bobs and has pictures as well for
you all. Only selling due to upgrade to a newer 2.1td Xantia :o)
Thanks,
Will
Price now dropped a little. Sensible offers only as well please :o)
Now there's a surprise.
For a lesson in how to sell a car.... look at the example of my Marea.
Not an easy car to sell at all. It was the wrong engine, the wrong
colour.
I put up an ad on Autotrader with a very honest description, the same on
ebay.
I set a sensible price.
Within half an hour of placing the ad. on Autotrader, I had a call.
Within 24 hours of putting it on ebay, I had a few emails.
Also within 24 hours, I had a viewer who'd seen it on ebay, and we did
the deal only 22 hours after it had been put on ebay.
The lesson is..... price a car at the right price for the market and you
can sell anything. Even a slightly rough Xantia :-p

I had 2 interests in the car and 1 was travelling up from taunton to buy it
as he knew how well i look after my coupe. He then found a local ZX1.4 for
£500 and bought it but i believe is now having second thought due to central
lockign issues and a 1.4 in a big-ish car not being good for cheap motorway
miles in comfort. The other interest found another xantia more cheaply and
has just had the spheres on it done after a bouncy ride and also a new rad
looks on the cards as well so thats about £200 on his £400 cheaper car
wasted already :o)
So all in its a good car still for the money due to whats been done on her.
Besides the 20v unit is a much better unit unless un can find a good TD unit
its the best of the petrols and easy enough to maintain if you know what
your doing and take care of it and green is a few quid cheaper to insure as
well :o)
