353rd Seige Battery prior to Active Service

This unframed photograph is very old (believed an original copy. It was
taken April 1917 of the 353rd Seige Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery before
they departed from Aldershot for active service.

It is mounted on card that has become frayed in places on the edge only
where it was previously in a frame.

Under the photo is the name John M. Chew, Photo (the photographer I presume)
and the address of 30 Grosvenor Road, Aldershot.

Above the picture is a crest that I believe relates to the garrison.

The actual photo itself is 11 1/4" X 8". The outer size of the card on which
its mounted is 18" X 14" approx.

There is one scratch to the surface of the photo but it does not detract
from the value of this photograph and is in very good condition for its age.
