Hey, great... a new religion. When are the elections for pope or whatever
you want to call the new power tripper. The king is dead, long live the

When are you silly humans going to stop looking for the answer from without?
Look in the mirror, there you will see the problem. Look again but this time
into the eyes. Stare into them. There you will find the solution. There you
will also find the universe.
Be your own god. Or do you have the guts?

Is pantheism a religion?
Does it have a god as its figure head. Do
pantheists worship or pray? Do you know?

There are different varieties of pantheism, but you should find
reasonable answers here:

The Universal Pantheist Societyhttp://www.pantheist.net

The World Pantheist Movementhttp://www.pantheism.net

I may be a pantheist but I'm not sure. I've always thought of myself
as atheist, which is more of a statement describing what I don't
believe. I have looked at a few belief systems and the one that I find
closest to my beliefs appears to be taoism. This seems very similar to
pantheism in it's respect for the earth and all life. The one big
thing that gives me doubts about pantheism is the use of the word God.
I reject all ideas of a conscious, all knowing, creator and if that is
not what pantheists believe in then who or what is the God they
mention. If God is just the greatness of nature or the spark of life
that links us all then why use the word God?

As you can see, I recoil from anything that relates to God. Is the God
necessary in pantheism? Is the pantheists idea of God something I
could live with?

Cliff, you really should come on over to the WPM page and read up
some. I think you'll be pleased. http://www.pantheism.net .

We're having a rousing discussion right now on our Communities list
about some of your questions raised above.
