It is said that there is no war in Buddhism.

I am interested in how would Buddhists explain theses passages to non-
Buddhist/skeptics?
If people say there has been no war in support of or assisted by Buddhism,
or more local stupidity, they're wrong. Might as well argue over
trigonometry, logic, or physics. Indeed, the same holds true for capitalism
and communism. As always, it's in the execution.
All traditions, sciences, and ways are roads. Some are better than others.
Some or more travelled than others. Some accumulate damage more than others.
And so, on. And so forth. Is the basic knowledge, skill, and attitude of
something beneficial? Can it be improved. Does it need refactoring?
Then again, people don't listen and it's all a waste of time until they
discover it for themselves, so Julian's comments that appeared while I was
writing this apply as well. It's the same with anything. New generations are
born and attention waxes and wanes. Lather, rinse, repeat.
