AFAIK Buddy ism is the "Middle way" between:

Asceticism & indulgence
Individual freedom & responsibility
Knowing & not knowing
Existing & not existing
Abbott & Costello
Etc etc...

From a Buddhist POV "Freedom" *is* the Middle Way IMO freedom from
extremes...

Just breathe and relax and try not to harm others...

Well it sort of works for me this away anyhow...
