What is my/our/your "Expansive nature?"

Thanks,
Confused, simple minded, occasional Meditator.

The first patriarch came to Bodidharma and stood
outside in the snow, but was ignored. So he cut off
his arm (so they say) to prove his sincerity. (Whether
or not the amputation was historical, and happened in
just that way, it shows that sincerity is a vital necessity.)

He said, "My mind is troubled. Please pacify my mind."
Bodidharma said, "Bring forth your mind and I will pacify it."
The patriarch said, "I have searched for my mind. I cannot find it."
Bodidharma said, "There. I have pacified your mind."

How many of our troubles are real and how many imaginary?
(But troublesome none the less, as long as one lives a
hypothetical life according the arbitrary rules of the
imaginary 'facts of life'.)

We can name 10,000 things, but that doesn't mean
that any of them actually exist.

To be free of bondage, unconfined by anything,
could be called an 'expansive nature'.

Unconfined by AnYtHinG???
even Morality! Isn't this where the Zennies and Shaolin went wrong?

?

We're talking about relative and absolute here,
the conditional and the 'true' beyond conditions.
You ask about the relative-conditional.

Can a human depart from nature?
The Ways of Power are common but not natural.
They are the cultural mileu of the world 'as we
understand it' according to the rational dualities.

Nature is simple. Hungry, eat. Tired, sleep.
No understanding or reasons required.
Make war? No. That's a cultural addition.

Too much 'morality' may be the reason that
folks feel justified in hating the haters and
killing the killers. How moral is that?

From childhood we naturally want to
love and be loved. That's true nature.

One without fear will be without greed and
hatred, and be naturally helpful and harmless.
In the natural state there is no hurry to 'do'
this or that. There is enough and more.
"The cup runneth over."
