If things are going right because of those decisions, we feel happy and
proud of ourselves. But if we find that things have gone horribly wrong
because of those decisions, we just repent.

Every decision a commander makes while they're winning a battle is perfect.
Their confidence rises, their friends slap them on the back, and their
enemies flee like rats. Given enough time, the shining bright ego comes to
believe it's worth every penny.

Board rooms around the world are full of it. The world economy is on the up,
workers are cut from payrolls with little resistance, and assets may be
stripped like skin from drowned pig. Quality management training in the
ranks is absent, securing their position and finances.

Oh, happy day...
