Just wanted to check in, I've been away from the boards for quite a
while, but I'm going to make a point to visit every now and then.

College life is hectic! Try meditating in a dorm room. :)
i gotcha beat. try finding a
quiet spot for meditating
in an assembly factory.
Or in a Buddhist newsgroup.
Here you are supposed to talk about meditation
instead of actually doing it.

Can you bring a "meditative stance" to a
newsgroup? Something like multitasking?
Reading while being aware of your breath
rising and falling? I'm going to try it.

George

Actually that's my whole practice.
I try to read with an awareness imbued with compassion
and go straight -- don't know for a while,
then write with an awareness imbued with loving-kindness.

Still the whole deal usually feels
more like talking than meditation.

just stop breathing.

Keep talking.
