Just getting started. It's kind of fun. Imagine having this in
your
head and then trying to verbalize it to people, and you get an idea
of
why the Buddha talked so much.

You mean you were talking without it in your head so far?

Well ***, I've been working on the thing for hours now. I was all
over accesstoinsight.com. I had the 7 this and the 4 that and the 5
that and it was really cool looking and big, and then I had some
problems with the software, and now I lost the damn thing. haha.
Irony. It was really cool too.

Oh well at least I got to look at it for awhile.
http://www.geocities.com/meindzai/buddhamap.html

There it is. Clickable even! I think it's purty.
It's fantastic.. 2 thank yous. 1st, a month ago I thought to myself
when browsing that accessetc.. website that it should be done as a map
- I think the 'buddha nature' in you heard and did it as a gift for
all. 2nd, a few days ago I thought to myself that if consciousness
(the level of perception) is not real, then shows me in some way that I
can understand - the map sort of shows that. Cheers!
You're welcome twice!

If you want to get your mind around the aggregates (which I think is
what you were dealing with in your conciousness questions), there is a
fantastic (and long) talk by Thanissaro Bhikkhu here:

http://www.audiodharma.org/talks/ThanissaroBhikkhu.html

(It's the 246 minute - i.e. four hour one)

And his notes (study guide) on that are here:

http://www.accesstoinsight.org/lib/study/khandha.html

I am fortunate to have a job where there are periods that I can sit and
do this stuff. I listened to it twice.

One of the next things I'm going to do I think, is try to compile a
list of all the audio stuff I have been finding recently. There is a
vast amount of material out there just for listening too.

Somehow listening to too many sermons
does not appeal to me.

then wax on up to those seven
deadly sins and turn pro this year !

Listening to a few good ones
oven and over and over might be better for me.

the need for redundancy and repetition
is surely a sign of your declining years.
are you like 90 years old or something?

Let me know if you find some real good ones.
Especially those about how not to think at all.

if you wish to stop thinking just do it.
stop thinking about not thinking.

You seem to know a lot about not thinking.
I am talking about not-thinking.

But, "just do it" is correct.
Do you know how?
