What is really going on here? I want Tibetans to back to Tibet, I
want the Dalai Lama to talk about nonviolence and peace, I want people
to
support him, but I do not want convicted criminals in
monk/lama/rinpoche robes, getting away with rape and crime in America.


Bad apples are all over the world. Not only in Tibetan lineages. Also
Theravada has a problem with bad apples - maybe even worse that what you
describe there.

Monasteries of all lineages all over the world, all report of bad apples. It
has been agreed to do something about it, but exactly what, has not yet been
decided.
