Maybe forever.

And then where would trb be? eh

Have you been missing us? :)

How's it done?
I don't know how you get there, I just know the results.

Do you know how it's done?
Do you think it's worth doing?

Compared to what?
The endless talk that always leads to nowhere...

I was thinking about that today while I was supposed to be shopping in that
a lot of the time, when I read posts by e.g. Ch'an Fu or Julian or you, I
think, "Well that all seems to be (more or less) in order." Then I go and
talk to members of the 70% club like Jan, Joy, George, Lee, Brian etc. about
the 30% that I want to quibble with (which is the least likely bit to lead
anywhere.)

The fudging around the
hard
stuff, so as not having to do the hard stuff to get to where everyone
says
they would like to be but really don't want to do what it takes to get
there.

This is why I'm trying to interview George. So we can come to an agreement
about what constitutes 'progress' and how it comes about and why. Then work
out a new 'path' (having to do with what everyone was really always doing
while they had the vague intention of doing something else) where you don't
have to bother with 'hard stuff' at all.

Is that the only alternative?
maybe not. But I tend to think it's one sure way at least.
How many here would want to give up quacking away on their daily
newsgroup.
Actually coming to realization of and living the words expounded here in
real
life. What they say, the Buddha said to do.

What would be the reward?

it all depends on what you really want, eh.

"Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law".

We choose.

"A man can do as he will, but not will as he will."
