Again, today, we see sans-Guardian Bahá'ís posting their erroneous
comments on the internet displaying their belief that there is a
legitimate line of succession from 'Abdu'l-Bahá to Shoghi Effendi and
then to their headless UHJ. Even a legitimate Universal House of
Justice is ordained to legislate only upon matters not specifically
delineated in Bahá'í Holy Writ and Holy Text.
The "hereditary principle" in the Bahá'í Faith provides for the
successorship of the 'expounders of the Words of God', the
interpreters of Bahá'í Holy Writ and Holy Text. The Guardians of the
Bahá'í Faith are the only legitimate interpreters of Bahá'í Holy Writ
and Holy Text. The Guardians are the only true successors of 'Abdu'l-
Bahá and Shoghi Effendi.
The hereditary principle of the Bahá'í Faith does not find any
legitimate application or fulfillment in the current UHJ on Mt.
Carmel. That is an elected body, not an appointed body. And it has
no interpretative ability, power or authority in the Bahá'í
Administration or in the Bahá'í Faith.
Those facts are very clearly explained by Shoghi Effendi in his
Spiritual Testament, The Dispensation of Bahá'u'lláh.
The 'chosen ministers of the Covenant of Bahá'u'lláh' are clearly and
officially identified in writing by the first of our Guardians, Shoghi
Effendi. He has identified those "chosen ministers" of His Covenant to
be the Guardians of the Bahá'í Faith.
Any sincere Bahá'í who wishes to examine those facts, in order to
align her/his actions and beliefs with Truth, need only study
carefully Shoghi Effendi's Spiritual Testament, The Dispensation of
Bahá'u'lláh.

Dear Ross,
The sans-Guardian Baha'is also are unable to trace the authority from
Shoghi Effendi to their UHJ. It seems that the power and authority of
the Guardianship would have to take a quantum leap through this
imaginary entity, the Custodians, in order for them to make a
succession argument. But have no adequate explanation for how the
power and authority runs to them. They even admit this in the
Ministry of the Custodians. Yet they have this magical belief that
somehow the power and authority was properly assumed by them and then
transferred to their headless UHJ. It really is irrational.
They then have the audacity to say that our rational arguments (that
the head of the IBC, an embryonic UHJ, is the same as being the
Guardian) are somehow far-fetched. In terms of logic, it is their
arguments that are far-fetched and no matter how many people they can
get to gullibly accept them does not change that fact.
Jeffrey
Very well stated, Jeffrey.
