This is a point, actually - what happens when Bayanis want to visit the

shrine of the Bab?

Only been there once but from my memory both Shrines are open to all during
certain hours and no questions asked.

Well, i guess that's no problem then.

I'd heard that the gardens are open to the public on a regular basis,
I didn't know that applied to the buildings too.

It seems from another thread that the belief that Bab is not buried there is
not a criteria for being a Bayani so I suppose it is possible that some
Bayanis and certainly some covenant breakers might want to visit. It might
only become an issue if it was important to them to visit at a specific time
when it is normally closed.

Its worth remembering that the Shrine of the Bab is also the resting place
of Abdul-Baha. Its a Baha'i Shrine quite apart from the Baha'i view that the
Bab is an integral part of the Baha'i religion.

Well, I was thinking that it was the Baha'is who paid for the building
and put it up (I think it was talking about the legalities of who
owns buildings in the context of the discussion about who
defines "who is Bayani" that made me think about this), but that
Bayanis might want to visit the tomb.

So, is Abdu'l Baha buried in the same grave, or is he just inside
the same building?
