You always bring up flawed logic, yet you persistently fail to present
a sound logical argument. In fact, the Orthodox Baha'is have a logical
explanation. I have repeatedly confronted you with the question of
exactly where our logic, in arguing that Mason was appointed by Shoghi
Effendi, is flawed. Nobody ever shows me how it is flawed.
Mason was the embryonic Guardian of the embryonic UHJ. Upon Shoghi's
death, there was only one body to turn to: the IBC with Mason Remey as
its head. Instead, the Baha'i world very irrationaly and illogically
clung to the Hands and swore their allegiance to an illegitimate body-
the Custodians and their man-made UHJ.
Those of you posting here can twist and snake around these facts but it
doesn't change the fact that you have no logical arguments and the only
thing you can do is try to attack our choice of words and create
confusion in the minds of the readers of this newsgroup.

It was clearly the intention of Shoghi Effendi that such would occur at

No, Ross. This isn't clear at all.
What seems more likely is that this whole farrago is *another*
supplementary theory that has been added to the structure
to save the hypothesis when the facts are simply against it.
Mason Remey himself recorded in writing the historical fact that he
received no instructions from Shoghi Effendi to activate the
International Baha'i Council. We have his writings.
After the death of the first of our Guardians, it clearly became the
prerogative of the President of the International Baha'i Council to
activate it and to guide it through all of the various evolutionary
stages authoritatively delineated by the first Guardian.
Here's that "clearly" again - this word is notorious amongst
mathematicians
as a cover for "hand-waving" - that is, when the absense of logical
argument is covered by attempting to say that no argument is necessary
because the steps are just so clear as to need no explanation.
It's the same as the way the Emporer's tailors covered for their
deception by suggesting that only the more intelligent people
could actually *see* their beautiful cloths.
Of course, clearly what had actually happened was that the
Emperor had been taken for a ride by a couple of con-men.
