That is precisely why it is so evident that Shoghi Effendi
intentionally/deliberately kept the International Baha'i Council in an
inactive state, not giving its President instructions to activate it,
and maintaining association with that embryo by means of an 'umbilical
cord', namely the liaison which he set between himself and that body,
his wife, Ruhiyyih Khanum.

As soon as that embryo would become independent and activated, the head
of that body would become the Guardian of the Baha'i Faith.

It was clearly the intention of Shoghi Effendi that such would occur at
the time of his death.


Hang on a cotton-picking minute. If the uhj and the guardian are supposed
to work together why would Shoghi Effendi wait until his death before
appointing what you believe is the embryonic uhj? That makes absolutely no
sense whatsoever. Also Mason Remey was already in his 80s, wasn't he?
Shoghi would hardly have appointed to be guardian someone whose death he
would logically have envisioned occurring many years before his own.

Mason Remey himself recorded in writing the historical fact that he
received no instructions from Shoghi Effendi to activate the
International Baha'i Council. We have his writings.

You also have Mason recording in writing the historical fact that he
appointed Don Harvey as his successor. But that's uncomfortable for you so
you dismiss it as the ramblings of dementia without the tiniest shred of
medical evidence that was the case.


After the death of the first of our Guardians, it clearly became the
prerogative of the President of the International Baha'i Council to
activate it and to guide it through all of the various evolutionary
stages authoritatively delineated by the first Guardian.


Says who if Shoghi left no instructions on the matter?


Mason Remey was appointed by the first of our Guardians and no human/s
on Earth had ant trace of authority to override that
decision/appointment in order to usurp control of the International
Baha'i Council.
