The rest of your argument about Charlie realizing he was ill and so
appointing JBM is pretty desperate. Again, where's the evidence he
realized
that he was ill? Where are the public statements? Private ones? Why
not
simply step down then, if that was the case? Why not issue a statement
to
that effect?

I think you're confusing intellectual ability with wishful thinking.
It
happens."

Dear Anthony,

We need to be careful not to miss the main point of this question,
namely, that is is the Lord of this Age Who chooses His "chosen
ministers" of His Covenant, the Guardians of the Baha'i Faith. We
humans may stumble about with our imperfections, yet the Lord knows
whom He has chosen.

And the Lord knows that it was never Charles Mason Remey.

Never in a million years.

It belongs to us to spiritually discern who that
individual is.
Before we can even discuss the appointment by Charles Mason Remey of
his successor, first we must clear up once and for all the question of
Mason Remey's appointment by Shoghi Effendi. That is the key to
understanding this entire question.

First, we must accept the unquestioned authority of Shoghi Effendi to
appoint the head of the embryo of the Universal House of Justice. That
person, by Instruction of the Master in His sacred and immutable Will
and Testament, which is part of Baha'i Holy Text, cannot be any other
person except the Guardian of the Baha'i Faith.

Well, I admire your emulation of Alice in her ambition to "believe
six impossible things before breakfast", but you'll excuse me if
I don't fancy joining you in la-la land. I'm off to enjoy the
spiritual
messages of Ambassador Mollari's journey...
