Re: A Christian's view of Baha'i

What needs to be discussed with honesty as well as intelligence are issues
such as: is the concept of conversion or entry by troops reconcilable with
the concept of the reconciliation of religions?

Why would entry by troops be necessary if religions could be reconciled?

My personal experience within Baha'i communities is that there is very
little respect for or knowledge of other religious groups and that the
primary motive for Baha'i interfaith events is to provide Baha'is with a
pool of potential converts. This sort of triumphal religiosity has nothing
whatsoever to do with reconciliation between religions but is a bald-faced
attempt to facilitate conversion of troops which is of course the main
motivator behind Baha'ism.

My personal experience of the Baha'i mania to convert others comes from 35
years of being a Baha'i and 46 years of being around Baha'is.

For example in one meeting in the mid eighties which was held under the
auspices of the Baha'i regional teaching committee in Burnaby B.C. the
discussion was focused on the 'target group', people of Chinese ancestry. No
mention was made of what the religion of these potential targets could
possibly be or how Baha'is sould learn from these people of Chinese
ancestry. The Baha'is at this meeting were councelled by the regional
teaching committe to 'befriend' people of Chinese ancestry for the purpose
of, introducing them to the Baha'i faith, converting them. Not only this but
with direct concelling to use the duplicity and dissimulation of only
telling these befriended Chinese people at first that Baha'u'llah was a
social reformer and to be careful not to mention that he was a manifestation
or a prophet because it might turn their potential converts off.

This is the sort of mentaility of the Baha'i teacher that is wide spread
and endemic in the Baha'i faith. This sort of conversional mania, which
shows a total disrepect for the people so targeted as well as a deep
disrespect for the culture and religion of these individuals, is symptomatic
of deeper ailments within the machinery of the Baha'i administrative
apparatus.

This Baha'i conversional mania has been fed by the Universal House of
Justice since it's inception. This arrogance as well ignorance of Baha'is is
a direct reflection of the arrogance and ignorance of these Baha'i pseudo
clergy and for anyone with an iota of impartial intelligence and wisdom this
arrogance and ignorance can be clearly seen in messages from these Baha'i
pseudo clergy such as their pompous and vain Message to the Peoples of the
World from some years ago.

Baha'is aren't interested in reconcilation between religions, the greater
majority are not even interested in learning anything about other religions.
The whole imputus and purpose of the Baha'i Faith is centered on entry by
troops. Thankfully such conversion by troops will never occur because people
of intelligence can easliy see through such facile and shallow attempts of
conversion through false befriending.

Yours Larry Rowe
