Think of it as venting, or perhaps something of a more toilet-friendly
nature. I don't think he is trying to debate.

I believe that Darrick draws comfort from the familiarity of rejection,
and he seeks it out. By addressing people as ***, ***, and
COCKSUCKER, he improves the likelihood that he will be rejected. By
posting his wild theories that 'Abdu'l Baha agrees with his racist
views, he improves the likelihood that he will be rejected. By posting
stilted, misogynistic views of women, particularly to women, or in a
Baha'i environment, he improves the likelihood that he will be rejected.
By doing these things where he can be confident of other people's
response, he gains control, or seems to himself, to gain control of them.

Darrick may be unusual, but I doubt he values rejection directly. I
think it about control and he can control the response of "rejection"
with a high degree of confidence.

Thank you. That's very interesting and has a certain ring of authenticity.
Without being insulting to him, especially since I don't know him, your
explanation reminds me of a troubled teen, who acts out out as a means of
getting attention, and therefore some kind of 'place' in the world.

It's quite sad. I shall not respond in a way that feeds such a
self-destructive need anymore.
