What does SED stand for?

Since this is an uncensored newsgroup, the best source of uncontrolled
information on the Baha'i Faith, it is very reasonable to include here,
as well, not simply attempts to denigrate this ideal source of
information, or abandon it exclusively to efforts to argue against
those pointing out the opportunities for increased awareness of
Baha'u'llah's message by those dominating his oppressed community, but
also illuminate to all the extent to which there is already
illumination within Baha'i.

If Baha'is only keep secret whatever good they are doing, then it is
understandable to assume they are doing nothing good, and all they are
doing is resisting the concept of open sharing of information, because
there is no valid benefit from sharing the information there is.

This is a completely uncensored medium; the only reason you can assert
dissatisfaction with it, is because you yourself and other Baha'is are
not posting what is conducive to your own pleasure. If Baha'is perform
noteworthy deeds and then record them here (where there are no censors
to prevent them posting) then they participate in the transformation of
this place into something more agreeable.

It is, of course, fact that if the doings of the cesspool
(proclamations of heresy, etc) could be avoided, then the previous
staple fare of TRB would be less capacious even to compete for
attention with more upbeat news.

So, I suggest living a life more elevated than the cesspool, so that
the regular fare that so displeases can dry up, and living a beneficial
life, performing meritorious deeds and sharing such tidings, presenting
personal views that are tolerant, inclusive and welcoming of diversity,
and this best uncensored Baha'i source of information may well then
play its part as an example for other Baha'i sites that can evolve from
their censored present towards the elevated freedom taught by
Baha'u'llah.

Thrice Three Blessings, Michael
