Nha......I blame it all on the Postie who delivered the letter.

Yes Susan....for you that is the core issue....you finding me find fault
with the UHJ. From your initial reference to believing in "AO plots",
through your "must be" response to my alleged membership in
the Talisman Invasion and up to your assertions of "bashing the faith"
and "virulent opposition to the UHJ".......all you have ever been interested
in is finding the anti Baha'i red beneath the bed.
Stop dancing? Honesty?..............The UHJ is irrelevant to me.
There was once two thriving active LSA's in this area.....
40+ Baha'is and interested/engaged friends/family. Now there is
nothing...not even mail...not even newsletters. The State and National
newsletters don't even come anymore....perhaps they no longer exist...
perhaps I have been removed from the mailing list...don't know...
don't care. Once a year I get a membership card in the mail....that's
it. I don't know, see or meet any active Baha'is.
The wheels fell off the two LSAs.....from my experience in welfare/
community building I still believe the groups could have been saved/
restored/maintained with the implementation of some basic measures.
Perhaps even the "laying down of guide lines and by laws" as
recommended by Abdul Baha. In these circumstances the UHJ is
of as much use and interest as GMH headquarters.....distant,
disinterested, impotent, irrelevant. Even more so than the NSA
proved to be.
So there ya go Susan....there's my scathing attack on the UHJ...
it means nothing to me. It cannot restore the Baha'is shattered
reputation in the area following the betrayal of Banjo Clarke nor
can it entice Baha'is back into an environment unprotected by
basic guide lines.
The only time I even think of Haifa is to occasionally wonder
if I should send the Archives my extensive reference material
on old Banjo....Praise from Prime Ministers, Obituary from
London Times, impact on the arts, popularly hailed as a Baha'i
saint.
But I suspect they would be about as interested as you have
been.....and consider the cost of archiving to be as excessive
as the cost of his funeral.
