Steve,

I think the fact that William Pleasant did a disappearing act the same
time Nima began to make his accusations lends at least some credibility
to that part of Nima's story. But he may not have so much have cheated
him as they had different understanding of what their agreement was. As
I recall Nima objected to the quality of the book produced, not that
William Pleasant didn't publish it all. But if William accepted even a
dime from Nima then he lied to us, because he said he was paying Nima
for the rights to publish his book, that Nima wasn't paying him.
