I know the movie. Don't you thought it strange
that the character of Bridget Fonda, which is
a good-looking, stylish career woman, chooses
as her roommate the character of Jennifer
Jason Leigh, which is a timid, colorless kind
of woman with a pathetic feel for fashion?

If your neighbor indeed sweeps the
gutter of the street, he's more apt to
be the creepy one, if you ask me ;-)

I'm good, thanks. Out of what I've read
your life seems also to be going smoothly
these days?

And no, I don't have a truck, but I've
bought a motorcycle, a couple of months
ago. It's a BMW R1100S, if this should
mean someting to you (I expect it doesn't).
I like to drive it to the outer edges of the
tires, when I return from work, and now
I feel so much more relaxed by the time I
get home.

This in itself has changed things for the
better in our family, since it results in a
lot less silly arguments between me and
my wife and a more laid-back disposition
towards my (sometimes pretty demanding)
daughter ;-)

We are also having the nicest weather
since 1830 (which is the year they started
to register the temperature and hours of
sunshine on a daily basis in Belgium).

November 1st we went to the sea side
in Holland (Zeeland) for five days, and we
ended up sitting in the sun for days in our
T-shirts (which is really strange, this time
of year).

Anyway, it gave me such a pain, since I'd
taken an umbrella but of course it wouldn't
rain ;-)
