UK fatalities in Afghanistan and Iraq

The number of British military personnel killed on operations in
Afghanistan since 2001 stands at 265 after a soldier from A Company,
4th Battalion The Rifles, was shot near Sangin, Helmand province, on
25 February.
Of all those killed, 33 have died from accidents, illness, or non-
combat injuries. Others have yet to be assigned a cause of death.
