Help Customers Keep Firearms Out of the Wrong Hands - and Build
Profits
$elling products that keep firearms out of the wrong hands is good
business - for the firearms industry and your bottom line.
The industry can il-afford headlines screaming of how a stolen firearm
was used to commit a crime, or how a family member was killed or
injured when a curious child found a loaded gun.
At the same time, firearm security is good business. While the sale of
many firearms and related products is on the slow side, safes are
selling extremely well with profit margins in the 30 to 40 percent
range.

Much of the boost in sales is due to the growing national legislative
action calling for stringent firearms security. In addition, many
insurance companies refuse to insure firearms or make it so difficult
and expensive it's not practical. The answer is a good safe.
Another strong factor driving the firearm security market is the
expansion of carrying permits. Where do you store your handgun when
you want to enter "no firearms allowed" buildings such as post offices
and courthouses? Those with CCWs are great prospects for portable
safes that can be bolted to a vehicle's floorboard or inside a car
trunk. Small gun lockers also are ideal for storing a loaded handgun
so it's quickly available for home defense.
The simple fact is every gun owner needs a safe, but only a small
fraction actually have one. The rest are potential customers.
