Strike one -- you don't know that.
No law has been alleged to have been broken. That's not the issue
here. The issue is whether Bush was trying to use the Justice
Department to go after his political enemies. If he was, that isn't,
strictly speaking, illegal, but it does constitute an infringement on
Congress by the executive branch.
Obstruction of justice is a crime.
But it would be a gigantic stretch to call this obstruction of
justice. They aren't accused of firing people to stop prosecutions,
but of firing people because those people didn't consider certain
prosecutions worth pursuing.
