bin Laden tapes authentic

There has never been a faked bin Laden tape. Never. The tapes, audio or
video, crop up somewhere in the Middle East, are partially played by US
media and others, and then someone (I'm not sure who), after public
reaction, "authenticates" them. There doesn't seem to be any discussion or
contradiction as to their authenticity. These tapes are usually taken at
face value, with seemingly no concern whatsoever that any of these might
actually be a disinformation campaign, or contain falsehoods, or anything
not of a straightforward message. The US certainly is fortunate in having
an enemy that engages in absolutely no subterfuge in its communications,
and to always receive true and authentic communications.
