Government Should Share Information With Tax Payers

When our government collects information about terrorist, it also
collects information about us. If the information about us, can help
us, and does not compromise the government's war on terror, we should
be able to get it. We paid for it.

As tax payers we disserve useful information that the government
collects about us.

Here is an example of how this should work.

I call the government's information number and it goes like this:

Government: Government information office, may I help you.

Me: Yes, this is George Patton.

Government: Identify your self. Is the wart on your belly to the right
or left of your belly button.

Me: Neither, it is about one inch above my belly button.

Government: OK, you are George Patton. How can I help you.

Me: I am an elderly man and my memory is not too good. I have a second
cousin in Boston whom I meant to send a "thank you" note to. Did I
send it?

Government: Actually, he is your second cousin once removed. But, yes,
you sent it last Thursday and he got it and smiled when he read it.

Me: Good! And one more thing, I am afraid that I am constipated. If I
am, I will see my doctor, but it I am not, I do not want to waste his
time. My question is, have I had a bowel movement in the last four
days?

Government: Yes, the day before yesterday at 8:45 am, you had a good
bowel movement.

Me: Thank you, I will not have to see my doctor.

I hang up.
