Gas Prices, The War, and the things the government, car companies and oil companies don't want people to know

Hello everyone,

Recently I started to look at purchasing a new vehicle. Because of the

soaring gas prices, I was interested in purchasing a Hybrid vehicle. I

did my due diligence and started looking on the internet for different
types of Hybrid vehicles prior to going to dealerships. I googled
everything from Hybrid vehicle's to alternative fuel and I have found
some very interesting and SHOCKING information that I thought I would
try and share with the rest of the world. I have also tried to send
this information to several different news agencies in my local area,
however no one seems to want to cover this story. Hopefully someone
will read this information and decide to bring it into the lime light.

In 1932 Charles Nelson Pogue built a vopor system that was tested by
Ford Motor Company and Winnepeg Motor Company. Instead of using
conventional methods of dispensing liquid gasoline into the engine, he
created a super heating device that boiled the fuel into a dry vapor.
It was documented that the system got over 205 miles per gallon, and it

sent shock waves through the stock market as oil shares plunged at the
announcement of the results.

In the 1970's a young man named Tom Ogle of El Paso, Texas, created a
vapor engine that allowed his V8 Ford tp get pver 100 miles per gallon.

His story was well documented in the El Paso Times. Mr. Ogle took the

local press on test drives of his vehicle, there by proving his claim.
One story reported that Shell Oil offered him 25 million. He said he
would not be interested and he was going to bring the new engine to
market. Mr ogle met with his untimely dimise before he could realize
his dream. The patent number for his invention is 4177779.

There are over 900 U.S. patents for vapor engines. Over 650 of these
patents have expired and can be built or sold by anyone.

In 1930 The United States Government restricted the drilling of oil in

the Colorado, Wyoming and Utah in the Green Rivers Formation. It has
been proven that there is more oil in this area than in all of the
Middle East. On August 8, 2005, President Bush signed into law, a
mandate lifting the protective legislation on the Green River
Formation. This mandate is called The Energy Policy Act of 2005. It
calls for the opening phases of oil extraction in the Green River
Formation. There are over 16,000 square miles of oil shale in the
Green River formation. Each acre holds 2 million barrels of oil -
it's the most concentrated energy source on earth, according to the
Energy Department. There's so much oil in this region the Energy
Dept. thinks we could become the world's leading oil producer. This
reserve is so big it's projected to last for 500 years, according to
some estimates. You could even add together all the oil in the Middle
East-and our reserves would still come out on top - 3-TIMES LARGER.

The government always knew this land was saturated with oil - but
getting it out has always been expensive. Buying oil from foreign
countries was always the cheaper bet.
As of late the cost of foreign oil has sky rocketed as everyone knows.
I find it funny though that we have a President who is an oil man
himself and we continue to purchase our oil from overseas when we do
not need it. If you can not tell, I am not a fan of our current
administration.

So, back to my interest in Hybrid Cars. I researched most of the major

players in the Hybrid Market and I found it rather interesting that
they still do not get as good of gas mileage as some of the vehicles
that are being released today. Honda has just come out with a vehicle
that gets 50 miles per gallon, yet their Honda Accord Hybrid (which
starts at $30,990.00) only gets 25 miles per gallon city and 34 miles
on the freeway. Additionally, their Non Hybrid Accords get from 21 to
26 miles per gallon in the city, 29 to 34 on the highway and start at
$18,225.00 up to a starting price of $27,300.00 depending on the model.

This is fairly typical for most of the Hybrids out there. The selling

price of the Hybrid vehicle is substantially higher than the Non Hybrid

version of the same car, and the miles per gallon are not really saving

you that much money at the pump. All though you are doing something
for the envrionment, which is wonderful, I bet you also thought you
would be saving much more at the pump.

For those who think that E85 is going to be our Savior, think again.
While E85 is a great alternative to an all gas vehicle for
environmental purposes, I would like to let everyone know that E85
costs (on average) $.40 less on regular unleaded at the pump . So we
are right at the same point we were last year at this time which was on

the verge of paying $3.00 per gallon. Additionally, your vehicle gets
10 to 15% less miles per gallon running on E85 than it would if you ran

it with regular gasoline.

So my questions are.

If we have the technology to produce vehile's that get 100
miles+/gallon, why is the automotive industry not utilizing this
technology instead of the patheticly, overpriced Hybrid's that are
currently on the market?

Why is the government not MANDATING that car companies create vehicles
that get a minimum of 50 miles per gallon?

Why do we have so many young men and women getting killed in a war for
oil when we have more oil here in our own back yard?

If George W. Bush is in bed with the oil companies and continues to
drive up the price of oil, when will their pockets be fat enough for
the American public to stand up and say enough is enough?

Why can we not get our own oil NOW and drop our gas prices?

P.S. If their are spelling mistakes, I am sorry, it has never been my
strong point.
